Lyrics
Injustice, Suffering Fate's Mistake
Bring that man some flowers
For inside his cell, the shaddows of
nonsense lie in wait
What a shame, an innocent man behind bars
His honor and dignity worth less than a box
of cigars
There's no answer to the riddle that
justice makes
It's just nature's way of saying, "Too
bad"
Like a bird that drowns in a lake
What a disgrace, paying for the crimes of
another
Politics serves as the perfect cover
When a man is prepared to kill another
No deterrent is better than any other
"Hey, what's the problem? We did
the best that we could.
And, by the way, the mistakes are for the
common good."
To take such a risk, a man ignores all
consequences
But, to make the innocent pay...has nothing
to do with revenge
What a waste, an innocent man killed by the
state
But, like I said, it's just fate's little
mistake
The state can't be perfect anyway
When something goes wrong
Someone just has to pay
Maybe we could have avoided these things
today
But, for now, it's way too late
Injustice, suffering fate's mistake
Bring that man some water
To put out the fire in his lake
