Vagina Flower chosen to promote the Vagina Monologues for Howard Community College in Maryland, USA... raising awareness about domestic violence and women's rights.

Big changes are on the way.  A parallel name and website, which will have a one-way link from this site, is under construction and almost every song will be remixed.  Two completely separate projects will run parallel.  The website will probably also be greatly modified.

All songs up for Cigar Jane's Favorite Songs  with the exception of "Cigar Jane" (which should be finished at the end of 2008)...Several new themed paintings online.  Complete studio overhaul nearly complete.  All songs for the next album already written.  Website will be expanded to include many new page avenues and themes.  New video production equipment.

New studio equipment is in the process of being installed/constructed.   Cigar Jane's Favorite Songs collection is being remixed.

December 2007

New album complete and ready to go.  It is entitled:  Cigar Jane's Favorite Songs and includes "The Terrorist Song".  The album was named after the painting "Cigar Jane".  Album should be completely uploaded and finished by the end of December 2007.  It will top off a collection of 5 complete "albums" in one year.  New Studio additions and instruments and hopefully several videos should follow in 2008.

November 2007

New album is scheduled to be completed by mid-late December.  Songs are completed, just need final mixing and recording of a couple more. New studio additions and updates are underway as well.

September 2007

After nearly a 2-month complete freeze on all work due to separate business activities, things should resume once again.  Many new songs are complete, but will not be published for another month or two.

New Album completed.  Title:  Vagina Flower, named after the painted flower, which replaced the original photographed flower.  There are two versions of this flower.  Two songs completed as well for the blockbuster album coming towards the end of 2007.  Considering the need for a lot more visual artwork...

Website makeover once again.  The original flower officially discarded.  Disposal of the original flower marks new strategy...  Everything on the website including every image will be original works by members of Pornographic Poetry.   5 new songs are complete.  A sixth album should be done by the end of September 2007.

New Songs online...Website makeover. 

New Album completed of rather raw unpolished songs.  13 new titles of mixed topic.  Album is not based on a particular theme.  The  album title:  Dirty Water.  This is a complete solo Album by Jim.   Everything you hear is the product of one person.

New video completed.  "Without You".

All songs for the fifth album have been written, but are awaiting final production.  The title and names have already been chosen and the theme is somewhat political.  One song is complete, but the rest may take a while.  Jon is doing mixing and engineering and that always takes longer due to his obsession with perfection.

A second video is already under way.  The video will be for a completely new song, which is not on any of the albums.

Regardless of how long the "fifth" album takes, another album will probably be released by the end of June, 2007.

March 2007

The fourth album of songs, Princesses & Prostitutes is finished - 13 songs.  The first song released is "Plain-Wrapped Girl".  A You Tube account is created.  A rudimentary and completely inexpensive video is made for the song "Jet-Black-Haired-Californian Girl". 

Work has already begun on a fifth album... reverting back to a more radical political theme.

January 2007

The fourth and fifth albums are underway.  The entire project is lacking visual imagery, but hopefully this will change soon.  Purely instrumental songs are also under consideration.  By the end of February a fourth album will be available.  More songs will also be released onto music websites.

November - December 2006

The Blue Lisa compilation is completed with 12 songs.  The songs have been released but some are under re-mixing and re-engineering.  "Sweet Louise" will most likely also be re-mixed with better sound quality and hopefully more improved drum tracks.

October 2006

"Make a Movie" and "Rubbin Poosies" were posted as number 1 and 2 simultaneously on the adult alternative charts on Audio Street.  With pornographic names and titles, it's no wonder. 

September 2006

First album of songs completed and "published" for download and listening.  Project originated as a marketing tactic under the guise of a pornographic name with light pornographic themes.  It's slight success has carried the name further.  The first and original album is:  Poetic Pornography.  Several songs were later edited out due to their radical themes.
